Its O.K to be slow down

My microdose today taught me that its o.k to be tired. It's O.K to not get a million and one things done. It's O.K to just simply be. My body felt heavy, my shoulders felt weighed down. Yesterday was Easter and I ate some junk food and candy out of my normal diet. This threw my body for a small loop. I intended to go out on a nature walk or soak up some sun but I decided to just take a moment and lay on my couch. This isn't the glamours type of self love that looks all pretty. Its the kind of self love you cultivate when you honor yourself doing nothing. Knowing that even by staying still, you're more than enough. You need times to slow down, to relax, to just be. Let go of the grip of all the tasks and to-do's -- let go of that mindset that you're only worthy while you're productively checking off tasks.
Balance is key, sometimes our microdose or mood will tell us we are tired, that we need rest. This too is a sign. This too should be accepted, felt and experienced. It's ok.
